What type of bike rack should I get for my 2008 Honda Fit?

I've never owned a bike rack, which put me in a disadvantage in finding one for the adjustment. I've seen things online in the forums, but nothing really comprehensive, which lets me know that it fits okay on the Honda Fit.

There are many choices of types bike rack and each has its advantages and disadvantages. You really need to understand what type of media you want first, then find the medium that offers the best solution for your car. The basic choices are: roof, trunk and mounted Hitch. A roof on the top rack is ideal if you will be transporting your bike around a lot. The great things about a media roof is to install it and remember about this and he does not get in your way as a trunk or hitch mounted rack. Gallery roof companies produce a wide variety of frames that can hold almost any type of bike quite safe. In addition, they are boxes, mounts for boats, unruly relatives etc. A roof top rack gives you great flexibility, but it is the most expensive option, may require a fairing to reduce wind noise, and will reduce your consumption of gas mileage. A door-trunk is inexpensive and very good for occasional use. Just out of the garage (or trunk), unfold, mount, load your bike and go. Impact on gas mileage will be less of a roof rack. Has down, straps and clips that affix the rack to your car are a real pain and scratched the paint of your car. Trunk racks are also subject scratch and / or rub the paint on your bike. The straps are a huge uproar in the wind if they are a bit loose. Forget your access to safe when bikes are loaded. In addition, it may be nearly impossible to get certain types of bike racks on some trunk, so be sure your bike fit on the screen before leaving the store. A square wheel is easy to assemble and disassemble. They can accommodate bicycles quite safe, as well. The cost is between a roof rack and a door-trunk. Your car will have a hitch receiver.
